At 9:00 AM, more than 20 people gathered on Kalichanska Square in Vinnytsia, holding portraits of Sashko, the flag of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade, and other banners.
USF members in Vinntysia always remembers both his role in the development of our Organization and his invaluable feat in defending Ukrainian independence, the Freedom of our people, and the entire world against the Russian threat.
“It is crucial to remember the feat of the Heroes, all of them. Of course, a huge number of people are fighting, and many have already died — we must remember everyone. But the best way is for everyone to honor their acquaintances and relatives with dignity — and then, together, we will ensure a truly worthy tribute to each and every one of them. For instance, I didn’t know Oleksandr personally, not at all. But we are together in the same Organization, in USF, and it is valuable for me to feel a sense of belonging to the legacy of such a truly good person,” says Vitaliy Bezkorovaynyi, head of the Vinnytsia branch of USF.
Thank you all for participating in the campaign; we are especially grateful to Anastasiia Yurchyshyna and the NGO “Vshanui” 💛
Oleksandr Zlochevskyi was a USF activist and a graduate of Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University. He served in the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade, as part of which he died in battle in 2022.
Today, Oleksandr would have celebrated his 29th birthday with us, if not for the enemy from russia.
