Andrii was born in the city of Mykolaiv, where he lived until completing the ninth grade at School No. 42. After that, he moved to Vinnytsia and enrolled in the Vinnytsia Technical Vocational College (VTFK). He initially applied for one specialty, but during his studies the academic program underwent rebranding, so he ultimately graduated with a degree in 123 “Computer Engineering.”
He is currently working as a hardware engineer and developing his expertise in 3D technologies, combining technical skill with an innovative approach to engineering.

«“For me, freedom is not an abstract concept but the foundation of a dignified life and a thriving society. USS is a community of people who are ready to take responsibility for their future and drive meaningful change here and now. We believe that young people who grew up in an independent Ukraine are the ones capable of transforming it. Freedom opens opportunities, and responsibility turns them into reality. I am convinced that Ukraine’s future is built not through coercion but through choice — the choice to be free and to act.”»

Oleksandra Blyzniuk is a 17-year-old volunteer and street musician from the Vinnytsia region who has been dedicated to music for more than ten years. During the full-scale invasion, she turned her talent into a powerful tool of support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces: performing 170 charity street concerts and raising over one and a half million hryvnias for the defenders. Oleksandra usually performs in the city of Novodnistrovsk, where her initiative receives the warmest support, and she personally purchases essential equipment for soldiers, particularly for the 120th Brigade.

Inspired by the story of an 11-year-old girl who raised money by playing chess, Oleksandra started her own volunteer path, which has grown into a meaningful mission. Alongside her charitable work, she continues to develop as an artist

«“Ukrainian Students for Freedom represent a generation that chooses not to stay silent. Freedom begins where there is courage to act, responsibility to think, and the determination to change the country with your own hands.”»

Andrii — USF activist. He grew up in the village Vinnyts'ki Khutory, where he graduated from school. From 2023 to the present day, he studied at the Vasyl Stus DonNU, majoring in Law. He joined the libertarian movement in the summer of 2023, when he began reading the works of Adam Smith and following Ukrainian libertarian businessmen.

«The highest value in human life is freedom, without it everything else has no sense. I believe in this with all my heart, Therefore, I want to do everything possible to make the ideas of freedom accessible to people, so that everyone not only knows, but understands and feels what true freedom is. I believe that only when this happens will humanity understand itself».

Sofiia is an activist with Ukrainian Students for Freedom. Originally from the sunny Azov region, she spent her childhood in Kharkiv, but today she proudly calls herself a resident of Vinnytsia. In 2025, she enrolled in the economics department at Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University.

At the age of 14, Sonya became involved in public activities: it all started with eco-activism, and later grew into various project activities, public speeches, and educational events. She genuinely enjoys training sessions and lively discussions, loves to help create inspiring projects, and, of course, to implement her own ideas that change people. Sonya sincerely believes that she can change the world around her for the better, so she starts these changes with herself. Music and active recreation are an integral part of her life.

For Sonya, Ukrainian Students for Freedom is not just an organization, but a place where wonderful people have gathered, a wonderful community united by a common idea of freedom.

«For me, freedom is the understanding that I can choose the direction of my life independently. It is a feeling of control over myself and my decisions. It is nice to realize that everything is in my hands - that is what gives me strength. Freedom is not always easy to achieve, but it is always worth it.

As Yevhen Sverstiuk said:
“Freedom cannot be given as a gift, it is easier to live in captivity, easier for slaves to live. It is no coincidence that a bird returns to its cage. [...] Controlled freedom cannot be subjugated. Freedom is achieved through daily effort, energy, and spirit”».

Yevheniia was born and raised in Vinnytsia. She is currently a third-year student at Vinnytsia National Medical University, as she plans to build her future in medicine. After enrolling, she joined the student government, where she remains actively involved. Yevheniia is passionate about scientific activities and literature, has a strong interest in economics and philosophy, and is always striving for self-improvement. While attending USF events in 2022-2023, she became inspired by the organization's ideas and activities. As a result, she became a USF activist in 2024.

Freedom is the highest value, one worth fighting for every moment. It is a constant struggle — both with society and with oneself. A struggle against stigmas, stereotypes, others’ opinions, and one’s own doubts and fears. It is a path that requires effort to break free from submissive existence, to stop merely surviving within imposed conditions, and finally, to start truly living.

A free life means the ability to make unbiased decisions, take responsibility, pursue goals, and even make mistakes. For me, freedom is essential—something without which I cannot imagine my existence. It is worth everything and remains alive as long as we understand its value.

Kyrylo was born and raised in the charming, chocolate-sweet city of Vinnytsia. After finishing school, he entered Vasyl Stus DonNU, where he discovered two new, significant fields: Law and civic activism. For him, these fields were like a father and mother—it was simply impossible to choose which one he loved more, so he had to combine them. This marked the beginning of attending numerous training sessions, traveling across Ukrainian cities for various events, and creating his own projects and initiatives. All of this eventually led him to the wonderful organization Ukrainian Students for Freedom, where in 2024, after completing the leadership program, Kyrylo became a USF activist.

For me, freedom is like water for a fish—it feels complete in it: swimming, enjoying, competing, and doing whatever it desires. The absence of freedom is like that same fish thrown onto dry land. What can it do? Merely thrash its tail in convulsions, try to breathe air, but all in vain—it is doomed to die. For a person, freedom is that very same water. Without it, a person is inevitably doomed as well.
