Viktoriia was born in the cozy city of Sumy, but she spent a significant part of her childhood in a village near the regional center.
She always fondly recalls warm childhood memories, like climbing trees or playing outside with friends from morning till night. While in elementary school, she moved back to the city with her family and became interested in music and photography, which still hold a special place in her life today.
During her school years, she tried her hand at many activities, from drawing to cheerleading, but ultimately chose music.
In 2024, she graduated with honors from secondary school and also completed music school, specializing in the "Bandura." That same year, she enrolled in her dream institute—the Institute of Business, Economics and Management at Sumy State University. Currently, she is an activist with USF (Ukrainian Students for Freedom) and Student Government, organizing and participating in student initiatives and projects.
She is known for her sincere heart and love for cats, her simplicity and clumsiness in life, as well as her inability to find free time for herself or to meet with friends outside of work.
She believes that «a good heart will always win» and that «fortune favors the bold.»

She learned about USF through her own social circle. To get to know the community better, she first became a supporter and then, in August 2025, an activist. She is continually amazed by the incredible people in this community and their activities, which she is always happy to join.
«My freedom ends where the freedom of others begins».

Sofiia is originally from the city of Sumy. She studied physics and mathematics in class at School No. 9 and received an art education at the Lysenko School of Arts. Later, she discovered herself in graphic design, which eventually became her profession.
In 2024, she entered the Institute of Business, Economics, and Management at Sumy State University, majoring in marketing. From the very beginning, she actively joined student life: organizing events, managing the department’s social media, and in 2025 became the media coordinator of the Student Rectorate.
A special place in her life belongs to contemporary dance, which — just like design — helps her process emotions and be true to herself. She also performs in a youth theater and is deeply in love with the stage. She draws inspiration from music, literature, sports, the English language, and photography. Her motto is: “You can’t add days to your life, but you can add life to your days.”
Despite a busy schedule, Sofiia is always open to heartfelt conversations, support, and warm moments. She’s someone with whom you feel safe even in silence. As she often reminds herself and others: “You always have yourself. No matter what happens.”
At the end of 2024, Sofiia discovered Ukrainian Students for Freedom — and immediately saw something deeply personal in the community. In January 2025, she joined as a supporter and, after completing the Leadership Program in August, became an activist. For her, USF is not just an organization — it’s a space of meaning, action, and freedom. Here, she finds like-minded people, depth, and the freedom to be herself.

«Freedom, to me, is the right to be myself and to act without coercion, while understanding the responsibility that comes with my choices. It’s not chaos, but an inner maturity that allows me to build a life on my own terms.
At the same time, I believe that freedom is the foundation of a strong state. Without it, sustainable development is impossible. Only a free individual can create, think critically, respect others, and change the country. I’m convinced: those who choose freedom today are already shaping the future. That’s why I’m part of USF».
