Rivne

Arsen is an activist of the Ukrainian Students for Liberty , grew up and lives in Rivne, where he studies in the 10th grade of Rivnean Lyceum "Ukrainian", joined the Ukrainian Students for liberty movement as a member in 2025 to the Rivne branch. Since April 2022, at the age of 12, he has held several small and large events, including a master class on writing for IDPs in Rivne and a mini lecture about Ukrainians during the war in France, Fer, department of Lyon. He is actively studying political science, law and economics and plans to enter the Law University.

History shows that we need a new approach to governing the state and decentralization is better for this»

Anhelina was born in the Ternopil region, near the city of Kremenets. She is currently a fourth-year student at a teacher training college in Dubno. Despite all the doubts and difficulties, she wants to pursue a career in education. She is convinced that education is the foundation of society and that all members of society, without exception, should be interested in its development. She believes that even small steps can bring about positive change, which is what we need right now. That is why in 2025 she joined the organisation ‘Ukrainian Students for Freedom’.

Victoria is a USF activist. She is from the village of Sosnove in the Rivne region. Since she grew up among nature, she sees her life in harmony with it as a certain goal, and is interested in eco- and urban movements. She is passionate about creativity and art, sometimes being its creator, and is studying to become an art manager at Rivne State University of the Humanities. Looking for opportunities to be useful and develop, she started volunteering at school and now it is a part of her life. She explores herself and life in general through various experiences. Although she found out about USF by chance, the values and ideas resonated with her, so she immediately filled out an application for the Leadership Program and has been a part of it ever since.

I admire the Ukrainian Students for Freedom, their ideals and worldview. It is a community of passionate people who care. This is an organization that nurtures leadership in each of its members. It is an opportunity to realize your potential as you wish. It is Freedom at every step, and Freedom is the right to be yourself.

Zoriana joined the USF after the Leadership Program in 2023. She is taking the position of an activist now. Rivne is the city where she was raised and born. Since childhood, she has been involved in different activities such as art school, theatre and dance club, English language school, and volunteering. She started her community service in 2018 by assisting the organization of youth projects with the «Peace Corps». Next following years, they established a youth public organization called «The Leadership Engagement Activism Program». Zoriana participated in many international theatre festivals in Poland and Zakarpattia, in the school of media and journalism from Ukrainian Cultural Found, in a global teaching education platform «Technovation» and other opportunities. At the beginning of the russian war in Ukraine, she volunteered on the Ukrainian and Polish border helping refugees. In 2022 Zoriana was selected as a finalist of the «Future Leaders Exchange program» administrated by the US Department of State. She got a scholarship to study in an American high school and to live with a host family for one year. She did her best to represent Ukrainian culture and create mutual connections with Americans by making presentations and organizing fundraisers to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In that case, I am highly interested in defending the ideologies of democracy, justice, and liberalism on the political, economic, and cultural fronts. USF is not only a public organization, but an incredible community of like-minded people, volunteers, politicians, philosophers, soldiers, patriots, and all other activists. They are eager to protect people's rights and raise awareness about freedom in society. Nowadays, during the Russian terror against Ukraine, it is historically crucial to preserve the homeland of liberal, democratic, and free Ukraine».

Ira is an activist of the USF. She was born in Drohobych, where she lived for 17 years. In 2022 she became a student at the National University «Ostroh Academy» and moved to a new city. Since entering the university she has been actively volunteering. Participated in two short-term Erasmus+ youth exchanges in France and Poland. She learns foreign languages and teaches English at the online school «Speak». Also loves watching videos about world politics and "not boring" history. Like dancing and riding a bike in her spare time. Joined the USF in the summer of 2023.

Anna is a USF activist. She was born in Nizhyn, where she lived for 17 years. She graduated from the historical-linguistic lyceum and the music school from the class of bandura and piano. At the age of 16, she organized her first own concert of lyrical music. In 2019, she entered the National University "Ostroh Academy" for political science and moved to another region of the country. She became an active leader of student self-government, a volunteer. In 2021-2022, she completed an internship at the school of political analysis "Polis", the information and analytical center "Ostrog.Info", participated in "Career Days" from the EU information center, cooperated with people's deputy Denys Maslov, public organizations "Foundation of Regional Changes" and "Territory of Changes". She is currently engaged in educational management, conducting political and sociological research. In addition, she studies the local politics of Chernihiv region, SMM-sphere, 4 foreign languages ​​(English, Polish, Italian, German), psychotherapy and works of art. In 2022, she took part in the Leadership Program and joined the USF :)

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of USF is an environment of the coolest people, fun, learning, growth, pleasant fatigue, love, courage, pride and of course FREEDOM. If you are here, you are lucky to be among the friendliest, most advanced, most conscious people who have the thirst to live, create, build a free society and a free state. The values of USF are my values. And so, USF is a part of my heart!

Taras is an activist of the Ukrainian Students for Freedom. He comes from the city of Rivne, where he graduated from the Economic and Legal Lyceum. During his studies at the lyceum, he became interested in economics and politics. These interests resulted in the fact that in 2019 he entered the National University "Ostroh Academy" to major in "Political Science". In his second year of studies, he joined the information center of the European Union, where he organized EU Career Days. In 2021, on the basis of the All-Ukrainian Initiative "Active Community" held an educational event "How does the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine influence the everyday life of a Ukrainian?". At the beginning of 2022, he participated in the British Council's Active Citizens program and completed an internship at the Rivne City Council. After the start of a full-scale war, he joined the cyber army. In August 2022, he joined the Ukrainian Students for Freedom, when he passed the selection process and entered the Leadership Program.

For me, the combination of the ideas of economics, political science and philosophy is a continuation of my life. I am convinced that the future of our world, and especially of our successful post-war Ukraine, is based on the ideas of freedom and libertarianism. And the USF is a team that reflects these ideas as much as possible, it is a team of powerful and free like-minded people who have already become, are becoming or will become in the future a driver of change.

Ivan is a USF activist. He grew up in the city of Rivne, where he graduated from high school. Since 2019, he has been studying at the National University "Ostroh Academy" in the field of "International Relations". He joined the libertarian movement in the summer of 2022 when he participated in the USF Leadership Program.
