Viktoriia grew up in a military town in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. In the 9th grade, she lived for six months in Balakliia, Kharkiv region, where she continued her studies at a local school. During her school years, she regularly went to competitions and took part in team history/ local history and tourism competitions. In 2021, she entered college from the Odesa Law Academy, where she found no opportunities to prove herself. Before the start of her third year, she discovered volunteering and social activities. She joined the NGO FRI, while also being interested in other opportunities to develop herself and Ukraine. In 2024, she applied for the Leadership Programme, although she had planned it last year, and joined the USF. She entered the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy to study Germanic philology, where she also joined the student organisation Ex libris.

For me, the USF is a new experience of being in a community that has a clear goal and is moving towards it. It’s about ideas and values that resonate with me, and about an atmosphere that makes me feel comfortable. Ideas of freedom are the foundation of a free, independent country. Freedom encourages you to think about your actions, because there can always be undesirable consequences. It gives you the opportunity to develop, and if you develop, your country develops. For a person who is a patriot of Ukraine, this is the highest value.
