Valeriia is a USF activist. Originally from a small town in the Rivne region, she is a native Polishchuk but currently lives in Kyiv, where she is studying at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, majoring in Economics and Economic Policy. Since the beginning of her studies, she has headed the Educational Department of the Student Parliament and has been organizing scientific, cultural, and volunteer events. Valeriia has participated in international conferences and programs on leadership development, mental health, economic recovery, and state-building. She is also a participant in the Erasmus+ exchange program (Czech Republic, Mendel University in Brno), and an organizer of debates, cross-sectoral forums, and similar non-formal education events for young people. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, she has been engaged in volunteer activities. She joined the USF during the Leadership Program in 2024 as an activist, realizing that she was close to the values of libertarianism and freedom.
Freedom is the highest human value and a primary tool for the prosperity of any nation. However, above all, it is a duty to bring light despite any bad weather and to be faithful to one’s principles and ideals. The USF is about freedom, about people and for people; it is a community of youth who, with an unbridled thirst, elevate the ideals of freedom and believe that the new generation of independent Ukraine has the potential to create a decent and prosperous future for the country.
