Taras is an activist of the Ukrainian Students for Freedom. He comes from the city of Rivne, where he graduated from the Economic and Legal Lyceum. During his studies at the lyceum, he became interested in economics and politics. These interests resulted in the fact that in 2019 he entered the National University “Ostroh Academy” to major in “Political Science”. In his second year of studies, he joined the information center of the European Union, where he organized EU Career Days. In 2021, on the basis of the All-Ukrainian Initiative “Active Community” held an educational event “How does the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine influence the everyday life of a Ukrainian?”. At the beginning of 2022, he participated in the British Council’s Active Citizens program and completed an internship at the Rivne City Council. After the start of a full-scale war, he joined the cyber army. In August 2022, he joined the Ukrainian Students for Freedom, when he passed the selection process and entered the Leadership Program.

For me, the combination of the ideas of economics, political science and philosophy is a continuation of my life. I am convinced that the future of our world, and especially of our successful post-war Ukraine, is based on the ideas of freedom and libertarianism. And the USF is a team that reflects these ideas as much as possible, it is a team of powerful and free like-minded people who have already become, are becoming or will become in the future a driver of change.
