Ruslana is a USF activist. She originally came from Lysychansk and went to Kyiv to study to gain the best knowledge to revive her community. Since 2020, she has been a lawyer from Mohylianka. She had the opportunity to live abroad but returned to her homeland because it seems that her motivation to act is fuelled by a strong connection to her native land. She actively promotes the ideas of zero tolerance for corruption, independence, and personal safety. She has held internships at law enforcement agencies and NGOs and currently works in the field of medical law at an international law firm. She has ambitious plans for her future career, is eager to cooperate in various projects, including those related to the occupied territories, and believes that only through joint dedication can Ukraine gain victory!
«Freedom is undoubtedly an absolute right of every individual. It is not just about being able to do whatever you want, it is also about the responsibility to act fairly and reasonably. On the other hand, it is the spirit that allows us to be ourselves. It is a feeling that nothing pressures us, that we follow our inner guidelines, but never go beyond the limits of human dignity. I am very concerned that Freedom can be lost, and that it has to be fought for or earned, as it should be an attribute that we have by default».
