Polina was born and raised in Kyiv. As a child, she was very interested in journalism, which led to the creation of a social, scientific, and popular newspaper in each new school. At the age of 14, with the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Polina temporarily moved abroad, and it was then that she became most actively involved in various volunteer projects and NGOs. For a long time, she was interested in social sciences, and in particular due to that, she came to libertarian ideas. Currently, Polina is a 1st year computer science student at the WSB Merito University in Gdańsk. Besides USF, she is a scout in “Plast”, researches socio-economic aspects of Ukraine’s recovery within the KSE YRL, and works on her own tech startup.
“I believe in the objectivity of goodness, and I believe that freedom is the main condition for achieving it. With the realization of personal responsibility and the weight of each choice, humans cultivate a sincere desire for good and learn to create this good – both for themselves and for the surrounding world.”
