Oleksandr was born in Lviv. He has been living in Kyiv since he was 5 years old. Since childhood, he has been interested in history and political science. In 2019, he graduated from school №155 and entered the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2023, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and pursued his master’s degree in the same specialty.

‘When I was coming to the Leadership Program, I was hoping to get useful contacts that might be useful in my future career development, but I found so much more here – great friends and an incredible social bubble. Conservative ideologists often talk about the concept of “small communities” – non-governmental associations of people that form civil society and make the state viable. Ukrainian Students for Freedom is one of those very important small units. At a personal level, I decided what the USF mean for me when I heard the phrase “my fire is your fire” at the initiation. It seems to me that this phrase encapsulates everything you need to know about the USF.’
