Maria was born and grew up in Korostyshiv, where she graduated from school. In 2022, she moved to Lviv and entered the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv majoring in Journalism. She joined the ‘Ukrainian Students for Freedom’ after completing the Leadership Program 2023 and became a member of the Lviv branch.

‘At the Leadership Program, I realised that the USF is a community of active, motivated, conscious and free youth, united by common ideas of freedom. And that’s why it’s important for me to be a part of such an organisation where students are the engine of change in society and the development of the country.’
