Kyrylо is a USF activist, design engineer, and photographer. He was born and raised in Kakhovka, a town on the banks of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region. In 2021, he entered the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where he is still studying under the Machine Dynamics programme. From the beginning of the russian invasion on 24 February to 19 July 2024, Kyrylo was at home in the russian-occupied territories. After returning to Kyiv, he worked in his department’s laboratory on the resonance method of studying composite materials. During this time, he also actively participated in student research conferences and other events, including Kyiv Maker Faire, Science and Innovations for Ukraine’s reconstruction Boot Camp, and Sikorsky Challenge. At the same time, Kyrylо is involved in development in the field of biomedical engineering at the KPI Additive Technology Park. The Leadership Programme 2024 was a big step for him. So, Kyrylо is now a USF activist.
It was an incredible moment. The gates of the Fortress closed and Freedom was in the air.
