Katia is a USF activist. She joined the organization in the summer of 2024. This choice was a conscious one, as Katia had been hearing about the USF from her friend for 3 years before joining, but did not dare to try it. Katia was born and raised in Kremenchuk, and has been studying at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in the Law program since 2021. She lived in Vilnius, Lithuania, for two years, where she realized that she wanted to take an active part in the development of her country, not just stand on the sidelines.

I am very happy that I decided to join the USF, because it was the beginning of amazing changes in my life. I finally felt like I was in a community of like-minded people, I felt like I belonged.”
