Kateryna grew up in Kamyanske, where she graduated from the gymnasium. In 2017 she entered the University of Customs and Finance in Dnipro at the Faculty of Law. In the period from 2016 to 2018, she was a participant of the project “Young Diplomats of Ukraine and Georgia”. In November 2018 she defended her project in Copenhagen (Denmark) after participating in the Great Debate Camp 2018 in Humlebaek (Denmark). In 2017-2019 she was a consultant at the Legal Clinic at the University of Customs and Finance. From 2018 to 2019 Kateryna was the Vice President for Academic Activities at ELSA Dnipro. In February 2020 she took part in the Legislator’s School project and selected up to 150 delegates to represent the youth of Ukraine at the Second Student Model Congress. Since August 2020 she has been an activist of the Ukrainian Students for Freedom after completing the course “Freedom 101” and participating in the training camp of the Leadership Program 2020 which took place in Vinnytsia.

A free society is a combination of a free market and minimal state interference in the private life of citizens, freedom from ideology, stereotypes and prejudices. In such a society, people have more opportunities to work together to improve their lives. Freedom is always a choice. Ukrainian Students for Freedom focuses public attention on economic and individual liberties.
