Yustyna is a USF activist since 2023. She was born and lived in Kyiv until she was 12. Later she moved to the Poltava region, where she currently lives. When she graduated from school Yustyna became a student of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where she studies journalism for 4 years. From her first year in the university she is a member of its student government. Initially she discovered libertarian ideas due to the political and economics courses in the university. But fully joined the libertarian movement after the Leadership Program in 2023.
‘USF is a unique community that helped me to deeply understand what freedom is. Many people in here radiate this freedom as the power of overcoming your fears in the name of your principles and for the better common future. They all showed me that you cannot be free and yet dishonest. You must be honest with yourself and those whom you represent — a family, a student society, a nation. You have to be able to admit the flaws and your possible responsibility for those flaws still existing.’
