Daryna is a USF activist. She was born in Kharkiv, where she graduated from the 11th grade of a specialized school with an emphasis on learning foreign languages. In 2023, she began studying at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, where now she’s a part of the students’ parliament, at the department of easel painting. Daryna became a part of the USF after the leadership program in 2023, which Veronika Kupetska, the USF manager of communications, told her about. This happened when Veronika interviewed Daryna, the topic was about Daryna’s single picket against concert of Svetlana Loboda in Kharkiv.

‘I started exploring ideas of liberty and thinking about them deeper not so long ago, but as soon as I learned more about them, I immediately understood that this worldview suits me. For me, the USF is still a very new and unexplored story, but its beginning has already been established and will definitely continue, because I consider it’s effective to promote the ideas of freedom with the help of the USF. Our ukrainian society critically lacks them. Unfree people will not build a well-functioning country. Geopolitical mistake to the northeast of Ukraine tried to take free will of our people, and so the colossal consequences were left, but it is up to people like us to revive liberty in Ukraine.’
