Darya was born in a small town in the Khmelnytskyi region but later moved to Khmelnytskyi, where she graduated from school. In 2018, Darya became a FLEX finalist, thanks to which she spent a whole year in the States, living with a real American family. In 2019, she entered the Institute of International Relations, majoring in International Law. She never saw herself as a lawyer, but she came to the conclusion that this choice would help her in the future. In the summer of 2022, she participated in short-term Erasmus+ programs, where she met many motivated people from all over the world. Darya decided to join USS in the summer of 2022. From that moment, she understood in which circle of people she found herself. The USF motivated her even more, to be an active participant in the state-building process of Ukraine, referring specifically to libertarian values.
“USF is about motivated young people whose eyes are burning and who never run out of ideas. This organisation unites people with different life stories but with one common value – freedom. People who know about the responsibility resting on them, but still fight for the future of their country without any fear.”
