Alina joined USF at the 2023 Leadership Program. She is from Kharkiv. She has been part of the public sector of the city since 2014. In 2020, she entered the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. Despite her technical education, Alina was fascinated by the development of Ukrainian theater from her school days, and also studied journalism. She believes that through the cultural space it is possible to change society for the better.

‘First of all, USF for me is a story about people, about a strong community. I have never met so many intelligent, ambitious and motivated young people in one place. In the first weeks, I was surprised at how much healthy competition and support there is in this constant motion. I got acquainted with the USF and libertarianism on the model of the VRU, then I got so excited that I immediately decided that I want to be a part of this “element”.’
