So choose, act and create!
Yulia joined the USS in the Leadership Program in 2024. Since 2023, she has been studying at the National University “Ostroh Academy” in the specialty “National Security”. She is into studying and analyzing political processes in Ukraine and the world. She is actively working on research and scientific works on such topics as defense policy, geopolitical crises, types of wars and hybrid threats. Among her latest works: “Hungarian Policy as a Hybrid Threat to Ukraine” and “Deportation of Ukrainian Children by the Russian Federation: Threats and Challenges for Ukraine”. From early adolescence, for Yulia, the idea of freedom seemed like a natural human right that needed to be protected and defended. Therefore, when she learned about the USF and libertarianism, she realized that their postulates fit perfectly into her own worldview.
Ukrainian Students for Freedom is a leading organization in Ukraine that truly has an impact on policy of the country. Anton is a USF activist. He was born, grew up and studies in the city of Khmelnytskyi. It was here that he graduated from the Khmelnytsky Collegium and entered his dream speciality, political science, at Khmelnytsky National University in 2024. Among his peers, he has always stood out for his creativity and enthusiasm, which he tries to pass on to everyone. He often surprises people around him – Anton started school at the age of 5 because, according to him, he was bored with others and wanted to reach other heights. Now he is active in public life, sharing his principles with the community.
USF is a place where you feel at home. It is incredibly difficult to describe how such a large number of people could become your family. If at least 3 USS members know you, then almost everyone knows about you!
Anastasia was born and spent most of her life in Khmelnytskyi, a city that seemed rather passive to her. In 2023, she learned about USF (Ukrainian Students for Freedom) and decided that it could give both her city and herself a breath of fresh air. And that’s exactly what happened: Anastasia joined the community during PL-24. Now 18 years old, she is studying in Lviv, actively working on the development of the Khmelnytskyi chapter, and engaging in volunteer activities.
Freedom is a weapon, and weapons must be respected. Ukrainian students have always been the driving force behind change, as their actions often laid the foundation for societal transformation. Young people not only have the power to talk about change, but also to act on it. The Ukrainian Students for Freedom (USF) holds the largest concentration of such youth.

In 2022, he learned about USF from his friend – Roman Grabkov, after which he passed the selection and became a participant in the leadership program.
For me, USF is more than an organization, it is a community of people, free people who are united by the spirit of freedom, each person here is unique, ambitious, free and ready to fight for freedom. These people are the foundation of positive changes in our country. They are engaged in important things, namely actively creating cool projects and building a free civil society of Ukraine. After learning about USF and having completed the leadership program, I am very happy to be a part of this movement and share these ideas and values.
Oleksandra — member of USF. Joined organization this year. Work as a journalist.

USF for me is a circle of like-minded people who share the most important idea – the idea of freedom. I am very glad to be among young and ambitious people with a fire of freedom in their hearts, who are doing very cool projects and building a libertarian Ukrainian society.
Maksym is a 4th year student at Khmelnytskyi Cooperative Trade and Economic Institute, majoring in Management. He introduced the ideas of libertarianism in the “V Ukrainian Lviv Model UN”. Since February 2019 – Member of the Youth Public Council at the Department of Youth and Sports of the Khmelnitskyi City Council. Participant in short-term Erasmus + projects.
