This is where freedom manifests itself: we are here not by order, but by our own will, the will to change, and this is freedom, the ability to fight. This is the only way young people in our imperfect state can change something, starting with themselves.’

‘For me, the topic of freedom has been relevant since the teenage years, when my parents dragged me to the The Orange Revolution (Ukrainian: Помаранчева революція, romanized: Pomarancheva revoliutsiia), but I viewed the very concept of freedom narrowly. The moment of moving to Bukovyna and separation from my parents opened up for me many cultural factors thanks to which I learned more about the history of the oppression of our people. From that fateful moment of my life, I learned about the USF, but did not plan to join. However, after getting to know many activists of the USF, I felt comfortable and in a circle of like-minded people. I realized that I am among people who also have a broad understanding of freedom and that it is especially important for each of them. They inspired me to move even more in the direction of leadership and the promotion of personal freedoms! For me, USF is about a special community!’

“Freedom is independence.” Freedom is an opportunity to choose the path of development of one’s own life. Freedom is the ability to take actions following your desires, which determines the essence of the person, not as a result of extraneous coercion. USF is an incredibly great project. USF is unique networking with extremely educated and intelligent people, an exceptional group of like-minded people who literally live with the same breath as you. It is impressive. As soon as you become a part of this community, there is an unusual feeling that you have a unique understanding with your interlocutor, which can probably be felt only with close people. USF is about freedom. It’s such a basic thing that everyone should understand, but we’re taking it to a fundamentally new, defined level – our own freedom, economic freedom, and the principles of a free society. This, as I believe, is important and necessary for our society and our country today.

She learned about USF after the Student Model of Congress 2020, later in the summer of the same year she passed the leadership program and joined the libertarian movement.
In my opinion, the idea of freedom is the basis of a successful and prosperous society, because only those who are free can think, create and function without any boundaries. Freedom gives a person the opportunity to take full responsibility for all his/her actions and aspects of life, thus providing everyone with an equal choice to develop or degrade.
So I believe, freedom is an opportunity to think and be creative, as well as realize and take responsibility for your choices and actions, to get a result, no matter negative or positive. What is most important, it’s my personal result for a specific goal.
