Ukrainian Students for Freedom

— Ukrainian Students for Freedom is a non-profit organized around safeguarding freedom, encouraging just policy making, and spreading the principles of liberty. Our mission is to unite, educate, and mobilize young Ukrainians who are committed to the ideal of freedom. Our generation was the first to be born in a free and independent Ukraine. We want to preserve that freedom for present and future Ukrainians. With this freedom, we believe Ukraine can achieve new heights of peace and prosperity.

The cornerstone of our mission is to build an All-Ukrainian network of young leaders. We pride ourselves on selecting members who follow our ideals, and who we believe have the potential for leadership.
Much of the our training for new members is focused on education and increasing awareness. Our members are taught through both experiences in the classroom and and practical experiences. Each and every member has the chance to learn about different spheres of leadership; from communicative skills to policy making.
Our organization takes direct action to change Ukraine. We are dedicated to mobilizing all our recourses and all of our leaders to support liberty. We are involved in a wide range of activities; from supporting policy proposals to hosting and funding events.

The work of Ukrainian Students for Freedom has strengthened my hope for the future,” said Dr. Tom Palmer, executive vice president for international programs and George M. Yeager chair for advancing liberty at Atlas Network. “In a country riven by factionalism and cronyism, war and violence, a principled group of young people have boldly stood up for liberty and the rule of law, for property and free exchange, for limited government as the framework for voluntary and peaceful cooperation, in short, for the public good. Ukrainian Students for Freedom work closely with Atlas Network's partners and their activist network stretches throughout the country. They demand a free country and they will have it.

Eight USF representatives led by our organization’s CEO — Daniil Lubkin, took part on March 9-13 at International Prometheus Academy 2020 in Batumi.

For four days, participants listened to lectures on the philosophy of Objectivism by foreign experts, participated in quests as well as competed for steep prizes in multinational teams.

During the Academy, we met and worked with representatives of the social movement of Georgia, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey.

Thanks a lot to the Prometheus Foundation for the invitation and Ayn Rand Center Europe for organizing and spending your time!
